Winter Clothing Distribution

Our volunteers in Dhaka assisted the homeless that struggle every day in the cold winters; our participants sacrificed their sleep to ensure that others could sleep in comfort. The people we distributed blankets to lived on the streets, in the bitter weather, without much protection or resources. They were delighted to receive blankets to ensure that they can at least sleep in comfort; these were distributed to all kinds of people, including children, senior citizens, and adults. You too can help us by donating or can volunteer yourself. Come extend your helping hands to aid the impoverished and serve humanity with us.

Esho Shikhi (Let's Learn!)

For the new year, we created an Open School with the initiative "Let's Learn"! 8 children (which has now become 10) were given food, new clothes, new school supplies, as well as an environment with quality teachers to give them the opportunity to learn so they can eventually support themselves and their families.

Eye Treatment Camp

We partnered with the Khulna BNSB Eye Hospital to provide free eye check-ups and treatment to villagers. Prior to the event, our volunteers went to several schools to spread word about the camp and encourage students to tell their loved ones to attend. We were able to treat over 500 patients, and provided cataract surgery at Khulna BNSB Eye Hospital for over 30 patients. We additionally fulfilled prescriptions for the remaining patients, ensuring they could receive the medicine they needed.

Street Fair Fundraiser

Our volunteers gathered at a Bengali Street fair to spread the word about our organization's work and encourage people to donate. We distributed informational flyers and educated people about Serve Humanity's mission to better the lives of village residents. We raised over $4000 in donations, many of which was pledged by donors to benefit the newly established orphanage.
